Adaptogen for Adrenal Support

Seriphos: An Adaptogen for Adrenal Support

An adaptogen refers to adaptogenic herbs that can be used for adrenal support.  Furthermore, different adaptogens will do different things for adrenal support.  Therefore, knowing which adaptogen to use is vital.

Stress

Stress is a common feature of everyday life that can raise cortisol levels and lead to significant health problems.  Therefore, Seriphos was developed to aid in lowering cortisol when cortisol levels are elevated due to acute and chronic stress.  Learn more about the negative effects of stress.

Adaptogen for Stress Resiliency

Seriphos contains key nutrients for stress resiliency.  It provides the adaptogen pure phosphorylated serine for adrenal support.  Additionally, Seriphos contains a synergistic blend of magnesium and calcium ethanol amine phosphates to promote a balanced and healthy stress response.  The adaptogen phosphorylated serine and ethanol amine phosphate serve as metabolic building blocks for the synthesis of phosphatidylserine and phosphatidyethanolamine, cell membrane phospholipids that regulate key aspects of cellular function.  This synergistic formulation of pure phosphorylated serine, ethanol amine phosphate, and mineral salts in Seriphos provides optimal absorption and bioavailability.  Correspondingly, this adaptogen is absorbed well before it is metabolized and removed from the body.  Lastly, look at this if you want to learn more about adaptogenic herbs.

Supplementation with Seriphos for Adrenal Support

  • Supports healthy cortisol levels
  • Improves adaptability to stress
  • Enhances positive mood
  • Calms occasional anxiety
  • Supports cognitive function adaptogen for adrenal support

Seriphos provides phosphorylated serine in a chelate form of magnesium and calcium.  Furthermore, each capsule of Seriphos contains 1000mg of a proprietary blend that supplies 90mg of the adaptogen serine phosphate in a base of magnesium and calcium ethanol amine phosphates for adrenal support.  In addition, the amounts of mineral nutrients provided per capsule are 45mg of elemental magnesium, 45mg of elemental calcium, and 190mg of elemental phosphorus for adrenal support.

How Does Seriphos Work?

Seriphos contains phosphorylated serine with ethanol amine phosphate, magnesium, calcium, and phosphorus.  Evidence suggests that the ingredients in Seriphos support the stress response and the adrenal glands by normalizing cortisol and reducing an individual’s perceived negative response to stress.  Therefore reducing the negative health effects of stress.

What the research shows:

Phosphorylated serine and ethanol amine phosphate serve as metabolic building blocks for phospholipids such as phosphatidylserine.  Research shows that nutritional supplementation with phosphatidylserine supports healthy cortisol levels, therefore, reducing the negative effects of stress.  In addition, this adaptogen enhances mood, calms anxiety and supports cognitive function.  In conclusion, this offers quite a bit of adrenal support.

FDA qualified health claims:

The ability of phosphatidylserine to support cognition and interrupt cognitive deterioration has been recognized the the FDA in its approval of the following qualified health claims:

  • “Consumption of phosphatidyserine may reduce the risk of dementia in the elderly. Very limited and preliminary scientific research suggests that phosphatidyserine may reduce the risk of dementia in the elderly.  FDA concludes that there is little scientific evidence supporting this claim.”

  • “Consumption of phosphatidylserine may reduce the risk of cognitive dysfunction in the elderly.  Very limited and preliminary scientific research suggests that phosphatidylserine may reduce the risk of cognitive dysfunction in the elderly.  FDA concludes that there is little scientific evidence supporting this claim.”
